INDIA has ordered its 1.3 billion citizens to take part in a nationwide 21 days lockdown due to coronavirus.

India's death rate according to CIA world factbook is about 7 per 1000. Based on this, 8.4 million people die every year in India which comes to 22,500 per day approximately.(2019)
As per the government data, almost 1.5 Lakh people lost their lives in road accidents in 2017, which means every hour 17 people died on the road due to an accident. The number of fatalities is one third of the number of accidents, which amounts to 53 road accidents every hour.
Uttar Pradesh is the worst affected state with 20,124 people losing their lives in road accidents, followed by Tamil Nadu with 16,157 fatalities. Maharashtra, Karnataka and Rajasthan are among the top 5 states. On the other hand, Delhi is among the safest place to drive considering the ratio of the number of vehicles sold yearly and the number of fatalities.
Lockdown not only save us from COVID-19...but also control the road accidents.If Corona is taking few people but on the other hand death ratio is also controlled.The death per day is more than 400 people. So the last 10 days saved more than 4000 lives.It is only 55 deaths reported from Corona.
So lockdown is the last way to save mankind. Indirectly the road accident, suicidal cases
surely control the death ratio of India.
